One Busy Weekend!

Our old friends the Jennings' came to Portland this weekend to see us off and enjoy some sunshine! It was great to see them and their boys. Lilly and Elliott are such good buddies. She was really sad today when they said fair well. We did soooo much together! Saturday we met the Bennetts and rode the train to the Rose Festival Parade, then we walked to the Farmer's Market, got lunch, and played on playground before riding the train home. When we got home a few naps were had and then we played in the sprink-u-ler (as Lilly says), cooked burgers, ate pie, and genuinely enjoyed spending time together!

Today, we were slow to get moving! Everyone was still pretty sleepy, but we played in the yard and went to our neighborhood park before we grabbed lunch and gave all those Jennings one last hug! Elliott didn't have a bike to ride so he tried out Garrett's old Razor scooter. Elliott is 3.5 years old and those things are wobbly, at best. He was ripping around the street in no time! I was amazed how fast he picked up a not so easy skill! Way to go buddy!!

Henry is a doll! He was happy to just soak up the morning sun and watch us all goof off! He did get caught the middle of a soccer match once or twice!!
