Time Warp

Well! Time is flying past! We are starting the process of saying "See you later" to lots of friends and favorite places. It is bitter sweet, for sure. We are excited to explore the Deep South and ready for summer. At the same time, we have had a wonderful, long stay here in PDX that has allowed us to accomplish a TON and build a beautiful, strong family and network of friends that we love so very much. I'm hoping to pick up blogging again through the summer and thought I'd kick it off by chronicling the last few weeks. We "kicked" off spring with Lilly playing organized soccer for the first time. I got rangled into coaching, which is hysterical given my general lack of soccer skill. We had fun (which was the most important part, of course) and Lilly's good buddies, Heidi and Julia, were on our team too!! It was really great to get to spend time with all three girls. They were so fun!

Two weekends ago Lilly's best friend Maizie and her family came back to Portland for a visit. The girls spent the night together, went to the zoo, and we even caught up with some old friends we haven't seen in a while! It was a busy weekend, but so much fun!!

We went to the beach a couple of weeks ago with some friends and we camped with one of the same families this weekend. Oregon spring hasn't been perfect, but there have definitely been some nice days!!
