Living It Up!

It has been a HUGE week! We are living up the beautiful, early Oregon summer to the fullest! We kicked the week off with one last trip to the beach with the Bennett family. It wasn't exactly balmy, but our hearty Pacific Northwestern children managed to have a great time anyway! Oceanside Beach was magnificent and the extremly low tide allowed us to explore more of it than normal.

We also went strawberry picking with Lael, Heidi, and Julia. The strawberries are amazing this year and the fields are bursting!! As you can see, we got quite a loot. We celebrated our success with a picnic at the farm in the perfect June temperatures!

Nora is a BIG fan of the strawberry! I wonder if the people at the farm stand should have weighed her before and after the pick!

Today, while the girls and I were gone, some of our strawberries turned into this!! I can't wait to try it out!!
